General Terms of Sales

These Terms and Conditions of Sale set out the conditions applicable to sales entered into between buyers wishing to make a purchase via the MAURICE MANUFACTURE website: http://www.mauricemanufacture.com, hereinafter the “client”, and MAURICE S.A.S., having its registered office located ZI des grands bois, cellule 2, Rue du Luxembourg, 49280 la Seguinière, and registered under the following SIRET number: 819 860 214 00017, hereinafter, “Maurice “.

These Terms and Conditions shall apply exclusively to natural persons who are not retail merchants.

1 - Orders

No orders will be registered online unless customers have clearly identified themselves.

Orders imply acceptance of the prices and specifications of the products available for sale.

All orders are payable only in Euros, incl. taxes.

A detailed invoice for the ordered items, including any delivery charges, will be sent to the buyer by e-mail on shipment of the goods and a delivery note will be enclosed with the package.

Maurice undertakes to accept any orders, subject to availability of the goods.

Customer hereby acknowledges having read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions of Sale before submitting their order. By submitting an order, the customer is therefore deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2 – Shipment and delivery

Goods can be shipped anywhere within the World wide.

Shipments are made from Monday through to Friday.

Delivery times for packages sent by Colissimo are those generally observed. Maurice shall not be held liable for any delivery delays due to Post Office delivery.

The need to check payments may result in late order processing and subsequent delivery delays.

Faulty goods delivery

We invite customers to check the state of the package on delivery. If the package appears to have been opened, we recommend that you refuse delivery at your home address and demand that the package be held at your local Post Office. You can then check the contents of the package at the Post Office and have them make a formal record of any missing items. Neither Coliposte, nor MAURICE shall be liable for any claims after the delivery has been accepted and signed for.

3 - Availability

Indications on product availability will be given to customers when they place their order.

Should a product happen to be unavailable after the order is placed, Maurice undertakes to inform customers by e-mail as soon as possible. The order will then be automatically cancelled and the amount due will not be charged to the customer’s bank account.

4 – Returned goods

Satisfied or refunded

- Any item purchased on mauricemanufacture.com may be entirely refunded.

- Customers are entitled by law to a 15 day withdrawal period from the date of reception of the purchase.

Money back within 24h of reception

- Customers should send their request for the return of items to our services at the following address: commercial@chaussures-maurice.com. As soon as the request for return has been approved, and the package received, Maurice will check that the goods are in perfect condition and will proceed to refund the client within 24hrs, by crediting the bank card used for payment.

- No return shall be accepted if the returned items have visibly been worn, soiled, subject to wear or damaged, or if their packaging has been soiled or damaged, rendering the item impossible to sell on.

- If the returned items are refused by Maurice, the items will be returned to the customer at Maurice’s expense, but no refund or any other form of compensation shall be due to the customer.

5- Sales price, terms of payment

Prices are given in Euros, incl. VAT at the current rate of 20%, excluding shipment charges.

MAURICE reserves the right to modify the price of goods from time to time.

All items and any additional costs will be charged according to the going rates at the time the order is placed.

MAURICE shall retain title to the goods until full payment has been received.

Online purchases must be settled by Bank Card.
The following cards are accepted: Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard Mastercard.

6 – Secure Payment

MAURICE shall make every effort to ensure the confidentiality and security of any data provided via the Internet. The Crédit Mutuel bank shall be responsible for performing the transaction and ensuring data security.

The web site uses an SSL-type (Secure Socket Layer) secure payment system. Confidential data (the 16-digit bank card number, the expiry date and CVX code) are sent directly to the bank server in encrypted format, without being transferred via the jefchaussures.com server’s physical devices. Payment is entirely secure.

7 – Payment checks

MAURICE reserves the right to check any personal data forwarded by the customer and to take any measures that it deems fit to prevent fraudulent transactions by ensuring that the person whose bank account is being debited is the person who placed the order.

Such checks may take the form of a request for identification and/or proof of residence, and/or banking documentation (bank details statement or cancelled cheque). Should the customer fail to respond to a request for information within 2 days of MAURICE’s request, the order concerned shall be automatically cancelled, and the customer shall forfeit the right to enter any further claims.

MAURICE shall also be entitled to directly cancel any order which is deemed to carry the risk of fraudulent bank card use.

9 – Personal data

Any personal data provided on this web site are for the exclusive use of MAURICE. Customers have the right to access, modify, redress or delete any personal information, pursuant to article 34 of the French Law on “Information technology and Civil Liberties”.

10 – Applicable law - Disputes

This agreement is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

This agreement is drafted in French.

13 - Comments, criticism, communication

All customer comments sent to the web site are monitored and moderated by the company's marketing team. The seller reserves the right to reject or modify any comments that infringe the law and ethical codes (unwanted advertising, defamatory statements, abuse, irrelevant comments, etc.).
